Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to the clinical education experiences provided by Vasculearn Network ("VLN," "we," "us," or "our"), including the Learning Hub course player and the community discussion area (the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

Educational purpose only. Not clinical decision support.

The Services provide professional education for healthcare providers. They do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or clinical decision support, and they are not a substitute for your independent professional judgment, current clinical guidelines, or approved prescribing information. You are responsible for all clinical decisions for your patients.

The Factor XIa inhibitor drug class discussed in these Services is investigational. These agents are not approved by the FDA or other regulatory authorities for secondary stroke prevention, and content about them is for educational purposes only.

Using the Services does not create a relationship between you and VLN, any sponsor, or anyone involved in producing the content.

Eligibility

The Services are intended for healthcare professionals and other adults 18 years of age or older who are located in the United States. Certain content is available only to verified healthcare professionals. By using the Services, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Post or share content that is false, harmful, harassing, hateful, or infringing.
• Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems you are not authorized to access.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Services, or use bots, scraping, or similar methods to collect data.
• Copy, resell, or commercially exploit the Services or their content without our permission.

Community content

If you post in the community area, you are responsible for what you share. You keep ownership of your content, and you grant VLN a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host and display it within the Services. We may remove content or suspend access at our discretion, including content that violates these Terms. Comments from other users are their own and do not represent VLN.

Privacy

Collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property

The Services and their content, including text, video, graphics, and logos, are owned by VLN or its licensors and sponsors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the Services for your own education. All trademarks are the property of their respective owners.

Sponsorship

This program is supported by an independent educational grant from Bayer. The content was developed by Vasculearn Network and reviewed for scientific accuracy. Sponsorship does not change the educational purpose of the content, and the sponsor does not control its conclusions. Any specific sponsor or faculty disclosures appear within the relevant experience.

Third-party services and links

The Services may rely on or link to third-party services. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third parties, and your use of their services is governed by their own terms.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any content is accurate or complete.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VLN and its sponsors, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of or reliance on the Services. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed one hundred dollars (USD 100).

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VLN and its sponsors, affiliates, and service providers from claims and expenses arising out of your misuse of the Services or your violation of these Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Suffolk County, Massachusetts.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
